Alexandros Pournaras is a skilled Backend Developer at DRAXIS Environmental S.A. since February 2023, with prior experience as a Research Assistant at CERTH from February 2014 to February 2023. During the tenure at CERTH, Alexandros contributed to multiple EU-funded research projects, including LinkedTV, ForgetIT, MOVING, MIRROR, and CRiTERIA, authoring deliverables and scientific publications while engaging in technical meetings and project management. Alexandros' research expertise encompasses computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning, utilizing frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch, along with proficiency in creating REST services and containerization technologies like Docker and Vagrant. Earlier, Alexandros completed an internship focused on Android Development at Verus Plus in 2012. Alexandros holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
