Denise Cysneiros currently serves as the Innovation Research Manager at Drax Group since September 2023. Prior to this, Denise held various leadership roles at Future Biogas Ltd from October 2013 to September 2023, including Head of Bioprocess and Optimisation, Head Biologist, and Biologist in the biogas industry. Denise's earlier experience includes a position as Senior Researcher at NUI Galway and the Competence Center for Biorefining and Bioenergy from October 2010 to January 2013, as well as a Marie Curie Experienced Researcher at NUI Galway between November 2008 and October 2010. Academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Renewable Energy, Bioprocess, and Anaerobic Digestion from the University of Southampton, complemented by a Master of Research in Civil Engineering and the Environment from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal da Paraíba.
