Bjoern Reinke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data, transformation, and smart metering technologies. Since September 2017, Bjoern has served as the Director of Data and Data Science at Drax Group, focusing on maximizing data value to meet strategic targets. Previous roles at Drax Group included Director of Smart Metering and System of Intelligence, where Bjoern developed a comprehensive data and AI strategy utilizing various AWS tools. Prior to Drax, Bjoern held significant positions at British Gas, including Director of Transformation and Director of Change and Transformation within the Smart Metering sector, achieving remarkable performance improvements and leading substantial investment programmes. Early career roles included consultancy at Capgemini Consulting and project management at Network Rail. Bjoern holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the University of Strathclyde and a Diplom Ingenieur in Environmental Technology from Fachhochschule Hamburg.
