Jonathan Tan has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Jonathan started their career as a Music Educator at City Music Sdn Bhd in 2009, where they nurtured and developed musical talent in young individuals.

In 2010, they worked as a Sales Associate at Ogawa Sdn Bhd, assisting customers in purchasing the right equipment for a healthy lifestyle and achieving sales targets consistently.

In 2013, Jonathan interned as an Engineering Intern at Willowglen MSC Berhad, where they gained experience in designing CAD/CAM drawings, executing project specifications for security systems, and performing site installations and maintenance work.

The following year, they became a Production Engineer at Top Glove, focusing on process improvement, designing automated control systems, coordinating machine operation, maintenance, and repair activities.

Jonathan joined Drawbridge Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd in 2015 and took on the role of Creaform Product Specialist, providing solutions, troubleshooting issues, and identifying business opportunities for customers.

In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Product Manager at Drawbridge Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd. In this role, they were responsible for the regional growth of Creaform products' sales and service division in Malaysia, managing customer expectations, building key account relationships, and supporting new market/application development for 3D scanning and additive manufacturing products.

Currently, Jonathan holds the position of Sales Director for Digital Manufacturing Solutions at Drawbridge Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd. Jonathan manages the sales strategy and network of 3D technology in the hardware business segment in Malaysia. Jonathan also oversees the sales and service team in the Digital Manufacturing division and establishes partnerships and business strategies in the field of NDT, Quality Inspection, and Additive Manufacturing with product principals.

Jonathan Tan completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

From 2003 to 2007, they attended St Francis Institution (SFI) and obtained their O-Level degree with a focus on the science stream.

Following that, from 2007 to 2009, they attended MALACCA HIGH SCHOOL, pursuing a STPM Physics Stream degree in the science stream.

Jonathan then furthered their education at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree specializing in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.

Continuing their education at APU, from 2010 to 2014, Jonathan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
