Venessa Macro has extensive experience in administration and legal compliance, currently serving as the Chief Administration Officer at Drake University since May 2001. In this role, Venessa Macro is a key member of the senior leadership team, overseeing various administrative departments, including Human Resources and Title IX, while ensuring legal compliance and managing litigation. Previous positions include Associate Vice President of Administration and Director of Human Resources at Meredith, as well as Associate General Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Venessa Macro holds a JD from Drake University Law School and a BS in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa.
