Michael Dornbusch has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Michael started their career at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a Credit Analyst from September 2012 to August 2015. Michael then worked as an intern at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and Cohen & Steers in 2016. In 2017, they joined Property & Building Corp. USA as an Associate. Michael later worked at Silverpeak as an Associate from June 2018 to August 2020. From September 2020 to May 2022, they worked at Triangle Capital Group, LLC, first as a Senior Associate and then as a Vice President. Michael then moved to Tishman as a Vice President from May 2022 to September 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President at Drake Real Estate Partners, starting in September 2023.

Michael Dornbusch completed their education at various institutions. Michael obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Real Estate from NYU Stern School of Business, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering and Cognitive Neuroscience from Northwestern University, where they attended from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Dornbusch has also received several certifications. Michael obtained the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from STR in June 2021. Michael also holds certifications in Argus Enterprise, Real Estate Financial Modeling (Level 1-3, With Distinction), Series 63, and Series 7.
