Ari Shotland has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving in an engineering role at DragonflyDB since January 2023 and as a co-founder of Butterfi since March 2022, focusing on non-dilutive financing and data-driven deal-making technology. Previously, Ari was the CTO at Plus500? from March 2018 to February 2022, overseeing technological operations and launching critical projects for a public FTSE 250 company. Ari's career also includes a significant tenure at Google from 2007 to March 2018, where leadership in teams responsible for the development of Google Autocomplete was a highlight, and foundational experiences at IBM as a research intern. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Distributed Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, both from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
