Mark Buffington is an experienced professional with a diverse background in event organization, systems architecture, and photography. Currently serving as an Event Organizer for Dragon Con, Inc. since June 2016, Mark manages a team of 150 to create engaging gaming events for attendees. As the owner of Mark One Photographix, LLC since January 2015, Mark has honed photography skills. Prior to these roles, Mark held various positions at Georgia Institute of Technology, including Systems Architect for research projects and OS/Platform Architect on major project teams. Mark's extensive experience also includes a lengthy tenure at Georgia State University, where responsibilities ranged from Lead Enterprise Systems Engineer to Lead Enterprise Database Administrator, contributing to significant campus-wide and state-wide projects. Mark holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
