Eva Cruz has worked in the media and photography industry since 2014. Eva began their career as a self-employed freelancer, providing photography and video services for a variety of clients. In 2020, they became a Digital Marketing and Media VW Fellow at MoMA PS1, where they were responsible for developing and organizing content for digital platforms, as well as providing video documentation, editing, photo editing, and production. In 2021, Eva took on the role of Assistant Video Editor Intern at Curology, remotely editing short-length User Generated Content videos for Curology's YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok platforms. Later that year, they began working as a Video Editor at TubeScience. In 2022, Eva joined Dr. Squatch as a Video Editor, creating a mix of short-form video ads for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok campaigns. Eva is also the founder of EveryStory, a photo and video content producing entity that creates visual media for purpose-driven businesses and non-profits. In this role, they produce commercial photography and short to mid-form videos, capturing and editing promotional content, mini-documentaries, and recap videos for a number of clients.

Eva Cruz attended CUNY New York City College of Technology from 2011 to 2013, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Art and Advertising Design. Eva then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they completed in 2017.
