Namisha L. Joiner, M.S.Ed., is an experienced educator with 18 years in the field of education, currently serving as an ELA Curriculum Specialist and English Educator at Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School since August 2014. In addition to this role, Namisha is the Founder, Writer, Editor, and Publisher at NLJ Publishing, which has been operational since January 2005. Previous educational positions include teaching at Harlem Village Academy Middle School, The Equity Project Charter School, and serving as an Academic Coach and Assistant College Access Coordinator in Houston ISD. Namisha holds a Master of Science in Educational Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism from Texas Southern University.
