Sooraj Gopan is a highly skilled researcher with a Master's degree in Animal Biotechnology from the University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College. Currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at Dr. Reddy's Institute of Life Sciences since March 2022, Sooraj previously held positions as a Junior Research Fellow at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and engaged in significant research on glioblastoma, focusing on its altered cholesterol metabolism. Earlier academic work included a Master's thesis analyzing gene expression and localization in the common carp, and volunteer experience with the Students' Sea Turtle Conservation Network, which involved the conservation of the olive ridley sea turtle. Additionally, Sooraj's early career included work in customer service, providing valuable team and management skills.
