Sophie Boots currently serves as Senior Legal Counsel at DPG Media Nederland since January 2021, previously holding the role of Legal Counsel. Earlier experience includes work as an Advocaat at Penrose.law and NautaDutilh from June 2016 to January 2021, as well as interim legal counsel at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Sophie Boots has a strong academic background with multiple degrees from Maastricht University, including two Master's degrees in Law with specializations in Arbeid en Onderneming and Privaatrecht, alongside a Bachelor of Laws. Additional qualifications include a postgraduate degree focused on Contract Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and completion of the Beroepsopleiding Advocaten. Prior legal internships and roles were undertaken at various law firms and institutions, accumulating extensive experience within the legal field.
