Tarik El Farouki is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate finance and business development, currently serving as Group Senior Vice President at DP World since September 2007. Tarik has successfully led the Business Development unit for the Middle East and Africa, expanding the team and business units significantly while overseeing diverse operations including ports, free zones, and logistics. A strong negotiator, Tarik has facilitated over $10 billion in infrastructure projects in collaboration with local governments. Additionally, Tarik holds prominent roles as CEO of DP World DjenDjen and board member of Djazair Port World. Prior experience includes positions at Dextra Maghreb and Comanav, complemented by an impressive educational background that includes executive programs from Harvard Business School and ESCP Business School, along with an MBA from Oxford Brookes University.
