Kendrick Koger has a diverse work background spanning several industries. Kendrick started their career in 1997 as a Computer Programmer in the United States Marine Corps, where they developed and maintained Visual Basic inventory programs and supervised a team of 20 Marines. After serving in the Marines until 2002, Kendrick worked as a Level 2 DSL Troubleshooting Agent at TeleTech Holdings, assisting customers with internet connection issues and training new troubleshooting agents. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as an Information Systems Analyst at Regions Bank, providing technical support and producing reports for senior management. Following that, Kendrick held positions at PILGRIMS PRIDE CORP as a Processor, handling chicken preparation and packaging, and at North American Lighting, Inc. as an Operator, carrying out tasks related to metallization and assembly. In 2016, they joined High Cotton as a Supervisor and later transitioned into the role of an Account Manager. Since 2018, Kendrick has been working as a Client Services Manager at Doxim.

Kendrick Koger earned an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Virginia College between 2004 and 2006. Earlier, between 1992 and 1994, they attended The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they studied Computer Engineering.
