Byron Pei has extensive experience in the technology and fintech industries. In 2004, they began their career as a System Development Engineer at 中国平安. Byron then moved to IBM in 2008, where they served as a Senior Technology Consultant. In 2012, they co-founded Cisetech Information and Technology Company, providing IT development and services for Insurance and Finance industry. Finally, in 2016, they founded Dowsure, a fintech company focused on cross-border e-commerce, utilizing Big Data, Blockchain and AI technology to provide digital insurance and lending services for SMBs.

Byron Pei attended Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Management.
