David Waingarten

David Waingarten has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. David currently holds the role of Creative Director, Strategy at Downstream since 2021. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2021, they worked as an Executive Creative Director & Strategist in their freelance design and consultation practice, catering to clients including Google, Disney, Mastercard, and more. Before that, they worked at Second Story Interactive Studios from 2000 to 2017, progressing from a Filmmaker and Editor to the position of Story Director. David played a pivotal role in the growth of the business, leading teams, developing new business, and delivering award-winning interactive projects. Additionally, David has also worked as an Independent Filmmaker, Filmmaker at Belle & Wissell, Co., and Editor at Batwin and Robin Productions. David started their career as an Assistant to the Producers at Florentine Films, where they contributed to the production of the Peabody award-winning film "Not For Ourselves Alone: The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony."
