Stefan Heinemann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biorepository and operational sectors, highlighted by a successful tenure at Avantor from January 2009 to May 2021, where roles included Assistant Director, Archives and Director of Sample Management. During this period, Stefan established the Sample Management service line, leading it to significant revenue growth and operational excellence. Prior roles include managing safety programs and compliance as a Radiation Safety Officer and Safety Officer. Stefan's foundational experience includes positions at EPL Archives, Inc. and Old Dominion University, where research focused on antibiotic resistance in V. cholerae. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Oceanography and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University and James Madison University, respectively. Currently, Stefan is on a sabbatical.
