Sal Santoro is an accomplished Lead Software Engineer and Application Developer with extensive experience in software development and IT infrastructure management. Currently employed at Douglas Machines Corp. since March 2020, Sal manages IT department infrastructure and has successfully migrated an onsite server farm to AWS Cloud. Previous roles include leading software engineering at SafePlans LLC, where Sal re-architected legacy platforms, and at Webstarts Inc., where Sal led an infrastructure migration to Amazon Web Services. Sal has also developed custom software solutions for Smart Communications and Vanguard Protex Global, utilizing a variety of programming languages and frameworks. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from Hyles-Anderson College, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
