David Crane has extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as a Senior Ambassador for Player Experience at DoubleDown Interactive since April 2023. Previously, David has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Dead Zone Games since June 2018. David's expertise includes a role as a Senior Process Specialist at Google Maps, where significant improvements to Spanish routing results were achieved. Early experience includes contributions as a 3D Game Artist and Game Designer for "Witching Tower VR" at Daily Magic Productions and as a Peer Mentor at The Art Institutes. David began a career in gaming as a QA Game Tester at Flexasoft, working on various titles. Educationally, David holds a degree in Game Art and Design from The Art Institutes and previously studied at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
