Patric J. Mondou has a diverse and extensive work experience. Patric currently serves as the Design Director at Double Stallion Games since November 2021. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, they worked at Gameloft as the Studio Lead Designer and Game Director, overseeing games like Disney Dreamlight Valley and LEGO Star Wars: Castaways.
From 2014 to 2019, Patric was the Creative Director at Jeux Borealys Inc, where they directed the production of Mages of Mystralia, a critically acclaimed action/adventure game. Before that, they held various positions at Gameloft from 2010 to 2014, including Senior Game Designer and Technical Game Designer, working on popular titles such as Dungeon Hunter 5 and Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour.
In addition to their game development roles, Patric also worked as a College Teacher at Ubisoft Campus and Maisonneuve College from 2009 to 2010, teaching courses related to multimedia and game design. Patric began their career as a Research Assistant in Interactive Media at Laboratoire NT2 from 2007 to 2009, where they worked on various projects related to Interactive Media, Interactive Literature, and Web Art study.
Prior to that, they worked as a Freelancer from 2006 to 2009, focusing on design projects. Patric's early experience includes working as a Web Integrator and Developer at Axial Développement from 2003 to 2005.
Throughout their career, Patric Mondou has demonstrated expertise in game design, systems balancing, directing production, teaching, and multimedia design.
Patric J. Mondou began their education at Collège St-Alexandre, where they completed their high school studies from 1994 to 1999. Following that, they pursued college studies in Multimedia at CEGEP de l'Outaouais from 2001 to 2004. Patric then advanced to university and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Media from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. To further specialize in their field, Patric pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Game Design at Université de Montréal from 2008 to 2009.
