Victor Romero has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Victor began their career as a Landscaping Assistant for Jose Romero Landscape Service, where they gained practical skills in maintaining lawns and gardens. From there, they worked as a Retail Associate at FootAction USA, where they excelled in sales, floor security, and inventory management.

In 2004, Victor transitioned into the gaming industry and became a Game Tester at Vivendi Universal Games. Victor then progressed to roles as an Interactive Marketing Intern, Assistant, and Associate, taking charge of online development and marketing campaigns. In 2007, they joined EA as a Game Tester and eventually became an Assistant Test Lead and Test Lead, managing teams of testers and ensuring the quality of game software.

Victor's expertise in testing continued at Experis, where they worked as a Software Test Engineer, managing schedules and resources for testing various titles. At Electronic Arts, they served as a QA Analyst, responsible for independent and guided testing and collaborating with level designers.

In 2013, Victor returned to Double Fine Productions as a Game Tester and Test Lead. Victor provided feedback and bug reports for multiple titles during development and offered customer support for studio products. Victor later became an Associate Producer and subsequently joined Experis as a Test Lead, overseeing the test plan and execution for a AAA title.

Most recently, Victor has been working at Double Fine Productions as a Release Manager, responsible for platform submissions, certification, compliance, and assisting the QA team with testing and feedback.

Throughout their career, Victor has demonstrated strong leadership, project management, and mentoring skills. Victor has a passion for video games and has also authored a book on Simpson-themed games and produced video series on the history of licensed video games.

Victor Romero began their education in 2001 at California State University, Long Beach, where they studied English. Victor then attended Brooks College from 2002 to 2004, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Multimedia/Graphic Design. In 2008, they enrolled at the College of San Mateo, where they studied Literature, Creative Writing, and Computer Science until 2022. Continuing their education, in 2015 Victor also began studying Drawing and Writing at Portland Community College, with no specified end date.
