Troie Burch has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Troie started their career at Anderson Clayton Foods as a Food Scientist in 1982 and worked there until 1987. Troie then joined Tyson Foods/Quik-to-Fix as the Director of Technical Services, a role they held from 1987 to 2006. From 1989 to 1996, Troie served as the Plant Manager at Tyson Foods Inc. In 2000, they became the Chairman of the Board at Southwest Meat Association for a year. Troie later joined Quik-to-Fix Foods/Smithfield Foods as the Director of Technical Services, where they worked until 2006. Troie then moved to FoodSource LP as the Director of Project Management from 2006 to 2007. Currently, Troie is the Vice President - Technical Services at Double B Foods, a position they have held since February 2013.
Troie Burch's education history begins with their high school education at Victoria High School, which they attended from 1969 to 1973. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry and another B.S. degree in Food Science and Technology at Texas A&M University, studying from 1973 to 1977. After completing their undergraduate studies, Troie continued their education at Texas A&M University and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biochemistry, with a minor in Food Science, from 1977 to 1978. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating between 1980 and 1982.
