UA Manager at Dots

Jihyung Kim is the current UA Manager at Dots. Jihyung has over eight years of experience in the field of marketing, with a focus on digital marketing. Kim began their career as a Marketing Advocate at New Work City in 2011, where they were responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns. In 2012, they transitioned to DISCO International, Inc., where they served as a Marketing Specialist for five years. In this role, they were responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns, as well as analyzing industry trends and landscape. In 2018, Kim joined CyberAgent, Inc. as a Digital Marketing Consultant. In this role, they were responsible for launching app-install campaigns and making timely optimizations to fulfill clients’ KPIs along with User Acquisition strategy. Jihyung also produced and presented an engaging campaign analysis for clients and demonstrated the effectiveness of planning, testing, and media optimization and management. Kim has 4 months of experience working in the Tokyo HQ office, where they operated the Facebook campaign for five Japanese-Taiwanese clients (Shiseido, Suntory, Benesse, etc.) for the Taiwan market.

Jihyung Kim graduated from Pusan National University with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. After working for a few years, they decided to pursue a Master's Degree in International Business at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. During their studies, they also took a French civilization and french language course at La Sorbonne Universite. After completing their degree, they worked in digital marketing and decided to take a digital marketing course at General Assembly to improve their skills.

They are on a team with Chris Clarke - Community Manager, Johnny McNair - QA Lead, and Jonathan Juhn - Senior UA Manager. Their manager is Nir Efrat, CEO.
