Michelle Nadow

In 2005, Michelle Nadow began her work at DotHouse Health as the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy. In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing a public policy agenda and strategic action plan for DotHouse Health and its partner organizations, the Codman Square Health Center and DotWell. Over the years, Michelle added to her responsibilities with the development and oversight of DotHouse Health's case management department.

Before coming to DotHouse Health, she coordinated school health programs at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health under a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Earlier, Michelle was a senior aide to State Representative Christopher J. Hodgkins in the Massachusetts House of Representatives working on issues pertaining to health care, public health and human services, among others. She received a Master of Science degree in Public Affairs from the John W. McCormack Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Massachusetts Boston and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University. Michelle has participated in continuing professional development while working at DotHouse Health including a fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Community Health Leadership at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Foundation, the Geiger Gibson Capstone Program in Health Policy and Leadership at George Washington University and Advanced Study in Health Center Financial Management through the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers and Suffolk University.
