Michał Żak has worked for three companies over the past four years. In 2015, they began working for 9livesdata as a Software Engineer. Michał held this role for two years before taking a Summer Research Assistant position at NEC Laboratories America, Inc. in 2017. In 2019, they joined dotData | Accelerate Data Science as a Software Engineer Trainee and was later promoted to Principal Software Engineer.

Michał Żak attended the III Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Marynarki Wojennej w Gdyni from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science. Michał then went on to the University of Warsaw, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2016 and a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2018.
