Alicia Novello has over 17 years of experience in marketing and digital media. Alicia is currently serving as the Head of Marketing at Doshii since August 2021. Prior to this, Alicia worked at Merivale as the Head of Digital & Communications from June 2019 to August 2021, where they were responsible for the strategic direction and mentorship of the digital team. From 2014 to 2017, Alicia worked at Rockpool Dining Group as the Head of Marketing and later as the Group Digital and Creative Manager, leading a team of creatives and marketers for multiple brands. Before that, they served as the General Manager Marketing at Public House Management Group from February 2017 to May 2018, where they developed and executed marketing strategies for various venues. In their earlier career, Alicia worked at Doltone House as the Creative and Digital Media Manager, at The Galaxy as a Senior Graphic Designer, and had their own creative agency called A Little Creative. Alicia also gained experience at IdeaWorks and FAW Design Agency as a graphic designer. Alicia's diverse experience encompasses roles in brand development, digital marketing, social media management, campaign strategy, and team leadership.
Alicia Novello has a diverse education history spanning from 1994 to 2015. Alicia attended Santa Sabina College from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained their High School Certificate with a field of study in Higher Education. In 2000, Alicia enrolled in the University of Wollongong and completed their Bachelor of Creative Arts degree in Graphic Design and New Media by 2002. Alicia furthered their education in 2003 at Enmore Design Center, where they received a Certificate IV in Digital Arts and Media.
In 2013, Alicia pursued additional studies in marketing. Alicia first attended the Australia College of Marketing and earned a Diploma in Digital Marketing in 2014. During the same year, they also completed a Diploma in Marketing at TAFE NSW. Alicia's interest in hospitality management led their to pursue a Diploma in Hospitality Management at The Northern Sydney Institute - TAFE NSW, which they completed in 2014. Lastly, in 2015, Alicia enrolled in Cornell University and obtained a Certificate in Strategic Development for Hospitality Enterprises.
