Michael Droke serves as the Chairperson of the Food and Beverage Committee on the Executive Committee at Washington Athletic Club since August 2021 and is a Corporate Trustee for the organization. Droke has been with Dorsey & Whitney LLP since November 1999, holding the position of Firmwide Leader for the Food, Agriculture, Cooperatives Industry Group, while also being a Senior Partner specializing in agriculture, cooperative, and labor/employment law. Droke has experience in providing legal representation to clients in the food and agriculture sectors and has contributed to legal literature as the author of "Cooperative Business Law." Previous roles include Guest Lecturer at Washington State University - Carson College of Business and Partner at Littler Mendelson, focusing on employment law. Droke's earlier experience includes serving as Employment Manager and Consultant for Santa Cruz Seaside Company. Droke earned a JD, Summa Cum Laude from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
