Mark Satterfield is an experienced Embedded System Engineer with a career spanning over four decades in the technology sector. Currently with DornerWorks since July 2012, Mark focuses on the development of embedded systems using C and C++ across multiple operating systems, including Linux and VxWorks, while also creating software and system requirements for avionic platforms. Past roles include .NET Developer at Broadway Systems, where Mark updated and developed .NET solutions, and prior positions as an Embedded Systems Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer, where contributions were made to embedded avionics and certification efforts. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
