Leena Bhutta has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Leena is currently working at the Doris Duke Foundation, where they hold the position of Chief Investment Officer since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Deputy Chief Investment Officer from October 2020 to January 2022. Leena also held the positions of Senior Investment Officer from January 2020 to October 2020 and Investment Officer from January 2019 to January 2020 at the same organization.

Before joining the Doris Duke Foundation, Leena worked at The Hollyhock Foundation as the Director of Alternative Investments from March 2011 to December 2017. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience as a Senior Research Analyst at Joho Capital from August 2006 to March 2011. Additionally, Leena's early career included a position as a Junior Analyst at Joho Capital from April 2002 to June 2004 and an Investment Banking Analyst role at Goldman Sachs from July 2000 to April 2002.

Leena Bhutta holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Wellesley College.
