Melanie Wynja has extensive experience in the field of nursing education. Melanie started their career in 2003 as a Nursing Instructor at Northwest Iowa Community College, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they transitioned to Dordt University, where they initially served as an Instructor of Nursing and Simulation before being promoted to Professor of Nursing and Simulation Director.
Melanie Wynja started their education at Dordt University in 1991-1992. Melanie then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Briar Cliff University from 1993 to 1996. Following that, they completed a Master's Degree in Nursing Education at Grand Canyon University. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Morningside University (2020-2022).
