Jason Walsh serves as the Director of Fine and Performing Arts at Dorchester School District 2 since July 2020. Prior to this role, Jason worked as the Coordinator of Performing Arts for Metro Nashville Public Schools from September 2017 to July 2020. Jason's career also includes experience as a Music Teacher for the City of Kingsport from October 2000 to June 2012, where responsibilities included leading the concert band and overseeing percussion activities at Dobyns-Bennett High School and John Sevier Middle School. Jason holds a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Cumberland University and a Bachelor's of Music in Music Teacher Education from East Tennessee State University.
