Kevin Shen has worked in the manufacturing industry since 2004. Kevin began their career at Campbell Hausfeld as a Sourcing Engineer, where they visited many air tool and air compressor manufacturers in China and developed a detailed understanding of the tool industry. In 2007, they moved to Ossur as a Quality Engineer, where they set up the quality system for the company's outsourcing projects. In 2008, they joined Hill PHOENIX as a Sourcing Engineer, where they managed the supplier chain and developed more than 10 suppliers in 20 months, resulting in cost savings of over $500,000. In 2010, they joined Doran Manufacturing, LLC, where they held three roles: VP of Product Development and Quality Control, Director of Product Development and Quality Control and Quality and Sourcing Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for product management and development, quality management, technical support, project management, R&D management and supplier sourcing.

Kevin Shen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ningbo University from 1998 to 2002. Kevin then went on to obtain an Msc in Product Engineering from Northumbria University from 2002 to 2003. In 2011, they obtained an MBA from The University of Hong Kong. In 2018, they obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
