Jose Alberola-Rubio has held various professional roles since 2009. Jose began as an Investigator at the Instituto Universitario de Investigación de Tecnologías Orientadas en el Humano in 2009, then moved to Hospital La Fe de Valencia in 2012 as a Científico Investigador. In the same year, they became an Ingeniero Biomédico at IIS LA FE - Medical Research Institute Hospital La Fe. In 2017, they assumed the role of CTO at Doppli Connect, and in 2019, they became the Scientific Director at Head of Unit of Bioelectronics, Signal Processing and Algorithmia Medicine Ph.D. MSc. BME. IIS La Fe. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became the CEO of Sonda Devices S.L.

Jose Alberola-Rubio has a long history of education and certifications. Jose completed an Ingeniería degree at the University of Valencia in the field of Ingeniería biomédica/médica. Jose then went on to complete a PhD in Medicine at the University of Valencia in 2017. Jose also holds a degree in Ingenieria Informatica from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). In addition, they have several certifications from Coursera and edX, including Machine Learning: Regression, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, R Programming, The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, and a Certificado Verificado de edX para el curso Embedded Systems - Shape the World.
