John O'Callaghan has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John is currently working as a Founding Engineer at dope.security since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Principal Software Engineer at Forcepoint from May 2018 to October 2021, where they were responsible for building a cloud-hosted cybersecurity platform on AWS and extensively worked with AWS serverless technologies.

Before Forcepoint, John worked at Accenture as a Senior Staff Software Engineer from December 2015 to April 2018. John also held the position of a Senior Staff Engineer at Silicon & Software Systems from January 2001 to November 2015.

In addition to these roles, John has contributed their expertise as a Senior Software Engineer (contract) at Philips Electronics in 2003. John started their career as a Software Engineer at Tellabs in 1997 and later joined Motorola in 1995.
