James F. Heise, MD, MBA, FACP, serves as the Chief Medical Officer and a Hospitalist at Door County Medical Center since 2010. In addition to this role, James has been a Physician Advisor at Door County Public Health since October 2013 and a Board Member of the Door County Board of Health and Human Services since March 2011. James also previously held a position on the Board of Directors for Door County YMCA from September 2018 to August 2019 and served as Medical Director at Ministry Door County Medical Center from January 2012 to August 2016. Prior experience includes working as a Physician at Columbia St. Mary's from August 2005 to August 2010. James holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completed in 2016, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (1999-2002), and a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1984-1989).
