Luis Sauceda is an experienced mathematics teacher currently teaching Algebra II at Donna Independent School District since March 2017. Prior to this role, Luis served as a substitute teacher at both IDEA Public Schools and Brownsville Independent School District, where responsibilities included following lesson plans, supervising students, and providing individualized instruction. Luis also held a position as a permanent substitute for Algebra I, Algebra II, and Math Models at Gladys Porter Early College High School, and completed clinical teaching in Pre-calculus in partnership with UTRGV. In addition, Luis contributed as a 21st Century Mentor at BISD, supporting after-school programs. Luis holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, as well as an Associate of Arts in General Studies from the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College.
