Jeffery Hay is the Chief Underwriting Officer at Donegal Insurance Group since January 2021, leading Underwriting and Product Management to support the independent agency distribution system. Prior experience includes serving as Sr. Director at Willis Towers Watson from September 2018 to January 2021, where responsibilities involved consulting services and technology solutions within the Property and Casualty Insurance sector. At The Hartford from January 2005 to June 2018, Jeffery held multiple roles, culminating as Head of Personal Lines Product Management, overseeing various departments including Product, Underwriting, and Predictive Analytics. Earlier in their career, Jeffery was an Actuary at Nationwide from June 1996 to January 2005. Educationally, Jeffery holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science and Economics from The Ohio State University.
