Ruben Felix Negrete has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Ruben began their career as a Veterinary Assistant at Buena Animal Hospital, where they provided exceptional customer service and cared for animals from 2006 to 2009.

In 2012, Ruben worked as a Yardman and Driver at Ventura Rental Center Inc. for over a year before joining The Daily Universe as a Reporter. At The Daily Universe, they wrote articles for the sports and campus desk, conducting interviews and collaborating with photographers from September to December 2014.

Ruben then joined Vivint as a Research Analyst Intern in early 2015. During their internship, they conducted primary and secondary research to improve Vivint's customer support site, working jointly with Brigham Young University. This included background research, analyzing competitor customer support sites, conducting focus groups, and gathering eye tracking data.

From 2015 to 2017, Ruben worked as a Tool Rental Associate at The Home Depot before transitioning to Domo, Inc. in July 2015 as a Public Relations Intern. In this role, they managed Domo's employee advocacy program and promoted Domo news and content. Ruben later became a PR Coordinator, revamping and scaling an internal employee social project to meet the needs of the fast-growing company.

Ruben's responsibilities at Domo continued to grow, and they became a Senior Communications Coordinator in March 2018. In this role, they managed the global employee advocacy/social media program, significantly increasing brand awareness and generating nearly $1M in earned media value in 2021. Ruben also served as the primary liaison between the analytics team and the Communications team, leveraging the Domo platform for data analytics and interpretation.

In 2019, Ruben joined the Utah County Public Defenders Association as a Summer Law Clerk, representing clients in non-evidentiary, pre-trial hearings and working on strategies concerning bail, release from custody, and mental competency.

Most recently, Ruben returned to Domo, Inc. in October 2021 as a Legal Associate before being promoted to Corporate Counsel in May 2022.

Ruben Felix Negrete has a Doctor of Law - JD degree from BYU Law School. Ruben also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations from Brigham Young University.
