Daniel Arteaga is a seasoned researcher in audio technology, currently serving as a Senior Staff Researcher at Dolby Laboratories since October 2014, focusing on spatial audio, audio processing, and room mapping through advanced methodologies including deep learning and signal processing. With a strong academic background, Daniel also lectures on spatial audio at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and has previously held pivotal roles at Fundació Barcelona Media as Scientific Director of the Audio Research Line and as a postdoctoral researcher. Daniel's expertise extends into patent litigation as an independent audio expert and includes teaching physics at the University of Barcelona while pursuing a PhD in Theoretical Physics. Daniel holds a Ph.D., a Master's degree, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universitat de Barcelona.
