Aaron Owens is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within both the private sector and the United States Air Force. Currently serving as the Cybersecurity Peer Group Lead at the Regional Technology Council and as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for both Raft and DoD Platform One, Aaron provides expertise in Continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) and Risk Management Framework (RMF). Previously, as the Director of Cybersecurity at Second Front Systems, Aaron managed software assessment and compliance teams. With a solid background that includes positions such as Information System Security Manager at Kessel Run and Senior Cybersecurity Inspector for the Pacific Air Forces, Aaron has developed a comprehensive skill set in cybersecurity operations, compliance, and team leadership. Aaron holds both an MBA and a BBA from Saint Leo University, emphasizing Computer and Information Systems Security and Business Administration.
