Anand Balachandran currently serves as Sr. Director of Product and Applied AI at DocuSign, a role commenced in December 2022. Prior to this, Anand spent over 18 years at Microsoft, where various leadership positions included Principal Group Product Manager for Microsoft SwiftKey and Microsoft To Do, overseeing global teams to enhance mobile and cross-device productivity, and Principal Program Manager for Office Language and Intelligence, focusing on AI innovations in Office products. Anand's extensive experience in product management and development also encompasses significant contributions to Office's mobile and cloud-based strategies, including the creation of a mature data pipeline and the foundational evolution of Office mobile applications. Anand holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from UC San Diego, a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
