Steve Watson is a highly experienced Physician Assistant Certified with a comprehensive background in dermatology and clinical practice. Currently employed at Doctors Making Housecalls since June 2019, Steve specializes in delivering dermatological care to patients unable to travel for medical services, focusing on promoting well-being and managing both acute and chronic issues. Prior experience includes serving as a Clinical Trial Sub-Investigator at Flynn Consulting, where Steve supported investigative drug studies, and over 11 years at Cary Skin Center, gaining expertise in various clinical and surgical dermatological procedures. Initial experience as a Physician Assistant at Cardinal Family Medicine/Rapid Care Urgent Care allowed Steve to leverage a decade of prior emergency care experience as a Paramedic and EMT. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Health Sciences from Duke University School of Medicine and multiple bachelor's degrees from North Carolina State University in Biochemistry, Chemistry, and Zoology.
