Shawn Wheeler has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Deliver Driver role at Jason's Deli in 2010. After a year, they were promoted to Catering Supervisor and enrolled in the Jason's Deli Store Management Program, which led to a promotion to Catering Manager. In 2014, they moved to Suitsupply as an Assistant Manager, followed by a Key Manager/Visual Merchandising role at Jimmy Choo in 2016. In 2017, they took on a Client Advisor/Visual Merchandising role at Fendi, followed by a Store Manager role at Planet Blue in 2018. In 2019, they joined Flatiron School as a Software Engineering Student and G2 as a Labs Engineer II, Labs Engineer 1, Software Engineer 1, and Junior Software Engineer. Shawn is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Dropbox DocSend.

Shawn Wheeler attended the Flatiron School in 2019, where they completed an Immersive Bootcamp in Software Engineering. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University in 2011, where they studied Communication and Media Studies from 2007 to 2011.
