Dan Lormon has over 16 years of work experience in various roles in the medical industry. Dan started their career at Cordis Corporation as a Manager of Marketing Communications from August 2005 to October 2007. Dan then joined Covidien and worked as a Global Manager of Marketing Communications from November 2007 to July 2010. Dan was later promoted to the role of Director of Global Strategic Events/Marketing Communications for Covidien's Vascular Business Unit, where they were responsible for congress strategy and internal/external events and marketing communications efforts. In 2013, they joined Medtronic and served in several roles, including Global Societal Relations & Fellows Education, Territory Sales Manager, and endoVenous Global Medical Affairs and Education. Dan left Medtronic in 2021 to join Avail Medsystems as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs. In 2022, they joined DocMatter as the Director of Global Strategic Partnerships. Currently, they are working as the Director of Clinical, Physician Education and Engagement at Radiaction Ltd.
Dan Lormon began their education journey at West Valley College from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an Associate in Arts with a focus on Journalism. Following this, they attended the University of California, Davis from 1991 to 1994, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in U.S. History. Later, in 2006 to 2007, Dan studied at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Brand Management, although the specifics of their degree are unspecified.
