Software Engineering III at Dock

Matheus Alves Arthus has diverse work experience in software engineering and automation. Matheus is currently working as a Software Engineering III at Dock, where they contribute to the development of a microservices and event-driven application responsible for client billing. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineering II at Dock, involved in the same project.

Previously, Matheus worked as a Junior Application Developer at IBM, where they participated in the development of the CPQ Hub, focusing on backend and frontend development using Node.js.

Matheus also worked as a Junior Software Developer at MangoBits, a startup specializing in application development, where they were responsible for backend development using Node.js and frontend development using React. Additionally, Matheus has experience as a Partner and Co-Owner at Arthus Aço Inox, managing the administrative and mechanical design projects.

Furthermore, they were the creator and proprietor of Arthus Designs, an e-commerce venture of Arthus Aço Inox focused on interior decoration. Matheus has prior experience at HI Tecnologia, a company specializing in programmable logic controllers and industrial automation solutions, where they worked as an Automation Analyst and later as an intern. In this role, they handled tasks such as CLP programming, implementing IHM, developing SCADA systems, and network architecture.

Matheus Alves Arthus completed their education in 2017 at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, where they pursued a degree in Engenharia de Controle e Automação.

In addition to their formal education, Matheus obtained various certifications over the years. In 2023, they obtained the certifications of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and LPIC-1 from the Linux Professional Institute (LPI). In 2022, they obtained the certification of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS, as well as the accreditations of AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) and AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation from AWS. In 2021, they completed the certifications of Scientific Computing with Python from freeCodeCamp, Containers & Kubernetes Essentials from IBM, IBM Agile Explorer from IBM, and Learn and Understand NodeJS from Udemy. Furthermore, in 2020, they completed the Bootcamp GoStack from Rocketseat.
