Hans Jacob Horgen is a Senior Engineer at DNV, with a tenure starting in March 2013, specializing in alternative fuels and piping systems for the maritime sector. In this role, Hans Jacob focuses on the development of class and statutory rules concerning emerging alternative fuels. Prior to this position, Hans Jacob served as a trainee at Det Norske Veritas from August 2011 to May 2013. Hans Jacob holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Marin Teknikk from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where studies were completed between 2005 and 2011, and attended Delft University of Technology for additional education in 2009.
