Lars Arne Sand is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in the cybersecurity domain. Currently serving as SVP - Service Owner / Head of Cyber Defense Center at DNB since August 2016, Lars has held various roles, including Expert Lead - Security Incident Detection and Senior Security Analyst. Prior to DNB, Lars worked as a Security Analyst at Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace, focusing on incident handling, risk management, and security architecture. Lars also has a background as a Senior Consultant - Malware Analyst at EVRY ASA and EDB ErgoGroup ASA, where significant expertise in incident response and digital forensics was gained. Additionally, Lars contributed to information security awareness as an Adviser at Norsk Senter for informasjonssikring and served as a Teaching Assistant at Gjøvik University College. Lars holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Information Security from Gjøvik University College.
