Stephen Phillips is currently a Senior Process Development Engineer at DNA Electronics (DNAe). Previously, they worked at Illumina for six years, starting as an Engineer 1 and progressing to Senior Engineer - Process Development. Their responsibilities at Illumina included leading a small team of engineers, conducting risk assessments, and characterizing reagents through DOE studies. Prior to that, they worked as a Technology Transfer Process Engineer at Fresenius Kabi for over a year and as an Engineering Intern at the same company for two summers. Their responsibilities at Fresenius Kabi included coordinating product transfers between development and manufacturing, preparing batch records, and designing an automated flowmeter system. Before that, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Stryker, where they developed new production methods for a bone regeneration product and led a 3D printing project.
From 2012 to 2016, Stephen Phillips attended the University of Rochester and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
