Ryan Dummer's work experience begins in 2007 as a Security personnel at ModusLink Corporation. In 2010, they worked as a Desktop Technical Support at ASAP Printing Corporation. From 2011 to 2015, Ryan was a Retail Associate at Home Depot Corporation, where they managed teams, projects, and provided customer service. Ryan then joined MWH Global in 2016 as a Civil Engineering Intern, supporting senior staff on projects. In 2017, Ryan joined PEPG Consulting, LLC as a Civil Engineer EIT, working on land development, road design, and pavement evaluations. Ryan was later promoted to Project Manager, where they took responsibility for land development and municipal projects, including design coordination and delivery of construction documents. Ryan's most recent work experience is with Horrocks Engineers, where they are currently employed as a Civil Engineer starting in April 2022.

Ryan Dummer's education history starts in 2008 when they attended Utah Valley University, where they studied Pre-Engineering with an emphasis on Environmental Engineering. Ryan continued their education at Salt Lake Community College from 2010 to 2014, focusing on the same field of study.

In 2014, Ryan enrolled at Boise State University and pursued a degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. Ryan completed their studies in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they earned the EIT Certification from the NCEES. Ryan successfully passed the PE Exam in 2019, receiving the PE Exam Pass Certification from the NCEES. More recently, in 2021, Ryan acquired the Professional Engineer (PE) designation from the State of Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing.
