Mitchell Mortimer started their work experience in 2017 as an Account Recovery Manager at Alliance Healthcare. Mitchell then joined Horrocks Engineers in 2018, initially as a Transportation Intern where they gained proficiency in various software tools and assisted in designing roads and intersections. Mitchell is currently working at Horrocks Engineers as a Roadway Engineer-in-Training.

Mitchell Mortimer attended Salt Lake Community College from 2017 to 2018, where they completed their Associate's degree. The field of study for their Associate's degree is not specified. Mitchell then went on to attend Utah Valley University from 2018 to 2022, majoring in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation and Highway Engineering.
